I can now safely say that InstallShield 7.04 Dev. is the worst "professional" tool I
have ever had the chance to use. No readily available documention, many ways to do the same simple things, some of which do not work for no apparent reasons. Is there an open source product that fills this role ? I found the Nullsoft Installer, but I can't seem to find comparison between different installers, or even simple reviews of the softwares. The lack of online manuals and tutorials for the InstallShield line of product is simply weird, if this software is used by a majority of companies, why is it so poorly documented ? Anyway, that was a rant after some really stressfull times.

Those who would want to know more about the project and its current status can join the CESW Mailing List ( Very low traffic ). This list keeps individual project members informed of what is happening.

Well not much was done in the last year, lets say that the project is at about the same place. Managing time has been difficult between work / house / TKD, but I'm getting the hang of it so I will try to find more time for the project. Hell, the CESW project enters its fourth year since creation date where proof of concept were made in VB. The design is currently getting refined and a agreed upon model, will surely surface soon. I hope this web page means we are getting near the end. I want to play the game.

What's up with that?

I agree the news section is a bit empty and a bit touchy feely, but you can always go to the links section
